Q’s Wiki on Leaks
i don’t know much about the situation and haven’t done any reading on it, so all my opinions come from seeing headlines and learning from friends.in sum: i think the wikileaks guy is an irresponsible, thoughtless, reckless douchebag who could have done good for the world, but thanks to his hubris, really hurt a lot of people and endangered many more. he deserves to be spanked. maybe by the singaporian governemnt.
he’s an adult who’s acting like a willful adolescent. and he played it poorly—why write about moscow in moscow? that’s as dumb as me blogging about harvard as an enrolled grad student… but i’m young and learning. he’s a “journalist” and should know better.
care to educate me? inform, please!
